Sometimes you walk into a place and you don’t know what to expect. That was me on Sunday walking into Rosie’s. I had no expectations and little knowledge of this establishment. We arrived at 7pm and we were escorted into the dining room, which was surprising large. But size didn’t really compensate for the obvious need for a total overhaul in decor. We met another couple there and the four of us were the only diners in the restaurant all evening! Not the best of signs and we should have probably took our cue and left but we decided to give it a shot.
It wasn’t horrific or terrible tasting- it was just not very good. If its casual Italian you are in the mood for, which we were, T&Js down the street is probably a better option.
Update: Rosie’s closed down. No big surprise there. We welcome Per Voi II into Rosie’s old location.
