I am a stickler in the kitchen for doing things the way they are meant to be done. But I decided to give no boil lasagna sheets a try and I am so glad I did! They are light as a feather in the dish, so easy to use and make a traditionally heavy pasta dish, much lighter and more enjoyable. And no pot of water or a strainer to clean up! The trick to using these is to dip them in sauce completely before using them because they do soak up the extra moisture when baking.
Try assembling your lasagna using all cold ingredients. (I always make my ‘gravy’ the day before) The hot gravy melts the ricotta mixture and makes it harder to work with.
